Some days just feel full. Our second Fūrin Matcha pop-up was one of them.
We had the privilege of setting up with Folks & Stories, a space that already carries so much warmth and intention of its own. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the right fit. The kind of collaboration where everything just makes sense ₊˚⊹ᰔ
For the menu, we wanted to do more than just show up with our drinks. We wanted the menu to feel like it belonged there. So we tweaked our signature earl grey matcha, swapping the maple sea salt cold foam for a simple sea salt foam to honour their beloved dark chocolate sea salt & brown butter cookie. We also created a brand new black sesame matcha, inspired by their black sesame ganache and matcha cookie. It felt right that the drinks and the space spoke the same language ₊ ⊹
What moved us most was the energy throughout the day. The conversations, the smiles, the moments shared over a cup. For those we got to sit and chat with, those moments meant more than we can put into words. There is nothing quite like watching people enjoy something you've built, not through a screen, but right in front of you.
